Constraints are distance from facilities like groceries, newspapers, bakerys, butchers, etc but this is Achill, and north of island, exposed to Atlantic and very challenging environment for locals to live year around...easy for guests to nit pick...visible signs of area deprived economically which is sad to observe, given the proliferation of holiday homes, which as an outsider, begs the question why is the tourist season confined so much to june/July as many seasonal businesses hadn't begun to be fully operational mid May, could be wrong but we toured all corners in 4 days after hiking."
