"Local scenery was something else. Great location."

"Very expensive to eat out ,even pub grub. Ate out once in ,Smugglers Inn,charged 17.50E for a fish chowder starter.Main dish very stingy and expensive. House owner very anxious that heatiing and hot water be used very sparingly.hot water ran out several times."

"Cottage très très propre, agréable, clair et très bien équipé avec 4 chambres et 3 salles de bains. L'emplacement est idéal, un peu en dehors de Waterville avec vue sur la mer et à proximité du lac Currane. Un magnifique cottage entouré d'un terrain très bien entretenu où on peut se détendre. Le rapport qualité/prix est excellent. Les propriétaires sont exceptionnels, toujours disponibles, serviables et à l'écoute. Mention spéciale à Bernie pour son dévouement et son action lors de notre oubli de notre sacoche avec tous nos papiers d'identité et moyens de paiement. On reviendra l'année prochaine pour un autre séjour pêche et on en parlera à nos amis qui souhaitent découvrir ou pêcher dans le Kerry."

"Location was perfect,& Berniecwas always available to answer any questions we had."

"There wasn’t anything we didn’t like, but my only complaint might have been one of the beds wasn’t as comfortable as I would have liked. That is my problem though, because I have back issues."

"Loved the garden, lovely place to sit out with a glass of wine. Kitchen was well stocked with lots of utensils. Rooms were big and hairdryers were much appreciated. Good WiFi and information booklet had lots of key information about the house and the area. A peaceful stay, will definitely be returning."

"Joan was a fabulous host! The cottage was beautiful, quiet and comfy with a fabulous bed. The gentle sounds of the wee lambs bleating and the cows bellowing was so homely. The tea, milk etc was a lovely thought and the whole cottage was so well kitted out. It was private and secure and we had a marvellous stay. Location-wise it was perfect. Duncannon and its lovely beach was closeby and as we cycle we were convenient to the Waterford Greenway. We had secure storage for our bicycles too. We could not have asked for more."

"It was a perfect place for a getaway for my wife and I. Comfortable and warm. The views were worth the price alone. Plenty of places for us to hike around. It is close to both Schull and Ballydehob to get whatever you might need. Our dog loved it as well."

"The location was stunning, right out in the mountains with a lovely (if lengthy) drive off the main roads. The views were amazing from pretty much every room. The house was warm, clean and spacious with everything we needed. We will definitely look at staying here again."
