"Liked the peace and tranquility and off road spot. Specifially chose the Carrigallen area to trace our grandparents brith places. My brother and wife, sister and myself and my husband stayed together. My grandfathers family name came from the next townland to Aghavas and we were able to find the family home just two fields away from where we were staying. This made everything special."

"We didn't see anyone about, although there was a phone number provided if we did need anyone. There was washing hanging on the line which we thoiught was a little odd too. Didn't feel the house is adequately signed. When booked I thought it was on the outskirts of Carrigallen. Our Sat Nav did not bring us to the location and we had trouble finding it the first day. It would be helpful to have a marking like a striped road marker, at the bottom of the lane, as it is quite hidden."

"The hotel had a lovely welcoming feel. The staff were very kind and helpful and nothing felt too much. The room was warm, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! We had the full Irish on both days. We found the hotel easy to locate with free parking. We really enjoyed our stay at Tulley’s hotel and we have already recommended it to family and will stay there again when we are next in the area! Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable and relaxing!"
