"We knew this before booking so not a problem for us but if anyone can’t do stairs it’s not the right place as the 2 shared bathrooms (one with a bath, the other with a shower) are on a different level across the hallway - depending on which of the fabulous bedrooms one is in. It’s an amazing, comfortable, well maintained period home."
"Ballyteige Lodge is such a special place. The house is beautiful and the setting/ location is magical too. It's like stepping into the pages of something out of an interior design feature. I just loved it. Sean was a very attentive, friendly, helpful and interesting host. This is not a hotel so don't expect that kind of experience and it reminded me of the Bed and Breakfasts I stayed at in my youth only a million times better. I thought that the breakfasts were very good and the evening meal, shared with other guests, was really enjoyable too. This was a unique experience and I feel honoured to have had the pleasure of staying here and really hope I'll make it back again one day."
