"Great place to stay in Dakar – a quiet area just outside the very city center, which makes it more peaceful and relaxed, and at the same time it is very close to the sea. You can fall asleep listening to the sound of the waves, and during the day enjoy a beautiful garden full of greenery and chirping birds. Breakfast is elegant and tasty, and the price is absolutely fantastic for Dakar – it is hard to ask for more at this level. For me, in Dakar: a well‑deserved 5 out of 5 stars."

"Locație bună, foarte aproape de ocean și intr- o zona rezidențială cocheta din Miraflores. Zonele comune din interior erau decorate cu mult bun gust. Personalul a fost foarte amabil, mi- au păstrat bagajele la recepție pentru câteva ore, după eliberarea camerei."

În interior era foarte frig, pardoseala băii atât de rece incat nu puteai sta desculț cand faceai dus. În camera mea nu exista aer condiționat sau o alta sursa de încălzire. Am fost acolo în luna august, și în timpul somnului a trebuit sa- mi infasor capul cu o eșarfă .

"Locație buna, in zona de cladiri istorice -patrimoniul Unesco- multe locuri bune pentru mâncat traditional. Relativ aproape de mijloace de transport in special autobuz.Pt metrou e nevoie de mers cam 15 min Personalul este de foarte mare ajutor, am primit multe sugestii despre petrecerea timpului."

Prosoapele si păturile nu sunt de calitate

"Decent stay for the price. It's not very luxurious but it's definitely worth the price you pay."

There wasn't any lift in the property and if you get a room on the 3rd or the 4th floor, you have to take the staircase only.

Fridge in the kitchen was full of old products. Old furniture in the room.

"The hotel was recommended to me by a couple I met travelling and they weren't wrong, Everything was so great about the hotel that I extended my stay by 2 days, The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great and different every morning, The manager even gave me a ride to the bus stop to catch the bus for san salvador, It was great value for money, I will definitely stay there again,"

"The atmosphere is very welcoming, homely, laidback. The staff are both locals and volunteers and this mix creates a great atmosphere. The friday braais are great for meeting people and can be a good pre-drinks for going out. Next to that it isn't a massive party hostel, which is a good thing to me. It's social, and many drinks are done in the evening in the common area, but when you go to sleep it has mostly quieted down. People that want to party further go out to the city at that point. There aren't that many other activities, but people organize it through the hostel whatsapp. Sometimes they do a volley session on the beach or volunteers might initiate something like Laura starting her Thursdays morning workout! Also, they are very relaxed in letting us borrow some coolers from the kitchen to go to the beach or a weekend festival even."

I would love it if the volley would become a weekly scheduled thing too. That on Wednesday / Tuesday and the braai on Fridays would be the perfect amount of planned activities combined with spontaneous stuff that's planned through whatsapp.

"The host was very friendly and helpful and the location was perfect. Hostel was close to the center. It was a pleasure to enjoy peacefulness here. Bed was good to sleep. Nice mountainview from the windows. Internet worked perfectly. Shop and museum is very close like villages other services as well."

"everything was super clean, the facilities were great, and there were plenty of sinks and bathrooms so you never had to wait for ages to get ready. the fact there is a sauna was an amazing bonus. beds super comfy with super fresh new white sheets - felt like I should've been paying way more. Location is great - most places in the city walkable within 30mins, and a five minute walk away from central station so really easy to use public transport"

"I liked the privacy provided by the pods, the size of the room the availability of storage and though I didn't eat the breakfast but they had a good selection. The ensuite bathroom was kept very clean and always had soap and shampoo available. There was board games available downstairs and different events in the evening. The location was very ideal close to lots of shops and the train. The chillout room had a microwave and stove and you can work in there and quiet"

The only thing every time I went to do a laundry reception never had laundry change. No kitchen but not unbearable

"What a wonderful place! Nice and close to airport. It's a hostel, but really there are 2 separate rooms with 2 beds in a cabin (at least that was how my cabin was. There is a shower toilet room, and a kitchen and seating area with a spectacular view. There is a bar and restaurant on site and they sometimes have bands playing on an evening. It is perhaps a 30 minute walk into Nuuk or you can get the bus which is pretty frequent about a 5 min walk away."

"The owner was very nice and the room was clean (we stayed in the hotel room with the barhroom). The kitchen was well equipped. It’s close to the boat taxi port, from where you can easily get tongue center."

The walls were thin and it was far from the center.

"Handy to bus stops and restaurants and s great bake/bread shop in front. The security is super and the people running it really nice. I like that they have soft towels and a bath mat in each room. All the extra touches to make it homey. Also there is a great laundry mat right next door. I have stayed there several times.(lol at the hostel. Not the laundry mat)"

"Proprietarul foarte de treaba si comunicativ. Am participat la turul din Transnistria, unde am vizitat multe monumente si am invatat despre istoria regiunii. Foarte educativ si interesant. Locatia hostelului e intr-o zona linistita, dar suficient de centrala. Personalul a fost foarte amabil si am avut tot ce aveam nevoie."

"Personalul foarte primitor și prietenos iar locația este foarte aproape de centrul Monastiraki, aproape de toate magazinele și restaurantele. Barul de sus este superb cu o priveliște foarte frumoasă iar prețurile sunt accesibile pentru oricine"

"Locatie excelenta, la 250 m de centrul istoric. Exista restaurante, magazine si terase in imediata apropiere a locatiei. Gazda a fost foarte primitoare si de mare ajutor de fiecare data."

Totul a fost OK, mai putin faptul ca apartamentul nu e dotat cu aer conditionat.
