The room(s), I've been staying in the one facing the street, are well lit and comfortable even for a longer stay, offering privacy and leaving room for some exchange with the owners as well. The location is phenomenal, at least in our case with small children, because the apartment is less than 10 meters from the private beach with sunbeds. In same house there is a beach bar and kayak and sup board rental. There is a supermarket and several restaurants of national cuisine nearby. As for sightseeing, the entire area around the lake and the Galicica National Park are a 15-20 minute drive away. The host is pleasant and ready to help in any way that would make the stay more pleasant (cheers Mishko). The house is a little bit older, but the apartment is clean and tidy. The kitchen is shared and with basic things as it is noted in the offer so that is not a complaint. It is a bit more difficult to park if you have a large vehicle, but the host can find you a safe and large parking lot in the immediate vicinity. And the biggest plus at least for us- they are pet friendly."

"We enjoyed our stay at Tequila Sunrise. Timmi, the owner, is quite friendly and helpful. Her house is colorful and stands out in the neighborhood. The room seems very new. It is spotlessly clean, large, and includes a complete kitchen. It has all the appliances you could possibly use. There is a very large bottle of drinking water so you will never be thirsty. The air conditioning is strong and the TV has many channels. I would recommend this this lodging to anyone staying in Antigua."

For me, having visited the Singapore tourism highlights on a previous visit, it was not an issue at all, but good to be aware that those highlights take a bit of time to get to. Also good to be aware you are welcomed into an actual home while the owners are living there. It's part of the charm.

"Elvis and Claudia are wonderful hosts. Helping you out with their local knowledge, lifts to different places in Georgetown and advice on what to do. The rooms come with a very quiet AC and a comfortable bed. The area is safe and a local store is less than 5 minutes walk away. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast of scrambled eggs with toast was just what I wanted. While they advertised a check-in and out time they are very flexible. Free Tea and coffee was supplied in the dining room."

"My bedroom was in the basement, it was dark, and there was a cold air-con unit in the ceiling which i could not adjust. The lamp at the bedside was broken. Downstairs lounge area was very dark, and had a small kitchenette attached. Place was convenient for US border, but far from downtown Vancouver."

Found the bedroom and entrance room dark and in the basement. It did not look at all like the photos.

There were 2 ladies at the reception - one of them was exceptionally kind, the other one was passive aggressive and rude (I only talked to her on the phone).

"Everything was excellent! Perfect location, walking distance to the center. Incredible restaurant next door with very friendly prices and outstanding food. Jorge is the best host I have ever had. He is very friendly and very human person. We had our car broken and he had helped us to push the car to car service and let us to store our staff in his house off the charge. Rooms are very clean, good kitchen, incredible veranda with cool view and BBQ station, hot water, fast Wi-Fi. Totally recommend"

1 socket per room is very little. No heaters in the room so in the night (we were in August) is a little chill but blankets are warm

"Alfa is a very friendly host who will help you with all he can without any opportunistic motives. His place is clean and welcoming. Large and tasty breakfast included. The dinner they cooked for us was absolutely delicious, we loved the Peulh cheese! And all this at a very good price - great value for money. Very funny for us Belgians to be welcomed in Dutch :-)"

The surroundings of the house are not really beautiful, but we stayed here as an overnight stop between Cotonou and the Tanéka villages.

"Mohammad and Heba are great hosts! Communication in English is easy, and Heba provides most delicious traditional palestinian and jordanian food at dinner. Being on a hike without car, I strongly depended on their perfect organiziation of transfers. Sections of the Jordan Trail, and the holy mountain Tell Mar Elias are nearby and beautifully covered by flowers in spring. The guesthouse is conveniently located between the Ajloun Forest Reserve which is in hiking distance, and the old city of Ajloun with its magnificent castle. I had initially intended a short visit here, and finally stayed almost a week."
