Castelul Skipton, vechi de 900 de ani, este poziționat la 25 de minute de mers cu mașina, iar trenul cu aburi Settle-Carlisle este la 15 minute de mers cu mașina. Cicliștii pot folosi un depozit pentru biciclete și o cameră de uscare, iar hostelul este poziționat strategic în apropierea traseelor pitorești de ciclism Pennine Way și Yorkshire Dales. Oaspeții pot urma, și, poteca din apropiere, care curge de-a lungul pârâului, până la cascada Janet's Foss.

"Just what I needed after a tiring week hiking, very friendly staff, comfortable bed, great breakfast (lovely kitchen staff, especially the young lady managing the hot food service on a busy morning). Lots of places for refreshment nearby, and all local sites within walking distance. And the bed was made!"

"Great location, right on the walking trails. The staff were very welcoming and the hostel has a friendly and social atmosphere. Our private quadruple room was very clean, spacious enough and quiet. Nice decor and plenty of room to store clothes. Loved the breakfast, great cooked food and plenty of continental provisions as well."

"Wow, hadn’t stayed in a hostel in 10 years and this really impressed! Cheap, perfect location, clean great facilities and the member of staff we spoke to was welcoming and very helpful even though we didn’t arrive until 9:30pm. Was a perfect base for us for the three peaks challenge. Would definitely stay again, even taking the family next time to explore Malham. Thank you couldn’t have asked for any more."
