"Breakfast was good. Our room was very spacious and cozy. Check-In and Check-Out went smoothly. There was enough space for parking on the street, this may differ in high season."

"Quite steep steps to get upstairs. We are used to living in a house but these seemed extra steep, so hard carrying your luggage up and down. Check in was just from a key in a safe to your room, but straight forward and easy."
"We stayed on the last floor and had a magnificent view over the lake. The room was clean, the bed was comfy and the full English breakfast was tasty. They even had a vegetarian option."

"We received a really warm welcome. We stayed in the Tudor Room (all 6 rooms are themed); it was very comfortable with plenty of hanging and drawer space. Bottled water and plenty of decent tea & coffee. Lovely bathroom with a decent shower and plenty of hot water. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, both were plentiful and delicious. The staff are very welcoming and can't do enough to help. Even if you aren't visiting this particular part of Yorkshire we would recommend going slightly out of your way and stay at this little gem - you won't be disappointed!"
