"This is a lovely hotel. Staff are really helpful and can’t do enough for you. I arrived early and was able to check into my room an hour before advertised check in. The spa facilities are nice if a bit tired - the pool was quiet and you could swim easily. The steam room needs a bit of an update. The main bar area is lovely and comfortable and drinks are reasonably priced. No real queue for service. The whole hotel is very clean and modern (save some parts of the fitness area). The room was generally very nice and clean."
"The bed was really uncomfortable. Not firm or supportive at all. I’m not sure if it was just my room but could definitely do with replacing the mattress. Felt like a mattress topper has been added to break old bed/ mattress. I got into bed and thought I was going to be getting onto a lovely firm mattress like even cheaper chain hotels have and got a shock!"
