"Kilian, the owner, was wonderful, He welcomed us with a glass of very good champagne and took our luggage up to our room. The place was great. Not a typical hotel but eclectic and quite special. Kilian made us an amazing breakfast."

"We were met by Alex at the door who greeted us by name, helping us with our bags. Such a simple action which made us feel very special. We soon learned that this is not just a small hotel. it's more like staying with family. The food was great, as was the service. My birthday cake was the best cake I have ever had.... Through Alex, we were introduced to a small family run champagne house - Beaucmap - which was not on the usual champagne route, arranging a private tour. Nothing was too much trouble, even with our non existing French!!!!"

The room was comfortable, quiet, had excellent air conditioning and other facilities such as a sauna and hammam."

"Everything was so well thought out and all amenities and items were of very good quality. The property is one of luxury and the hosts Philip and Marie-Madeleine just make you feel so welcome, nothing is too much trouble and yet they provide you with privacy. The hot tub and pool were heated and available at all times, the gas bbq was excellent for self catering. We so enjoyed our week here and will return in the future. "Spaceous house with the large garden. Very quiet location, great for the rest and detox from the city live. Many thanks to Sebastian (the host) for helping us to settle (Internet connection, bed linen, etc.) and who gave as a lot of tips for places to visit. With the car it is very easy to drive around and there are couple nice pleasant towns around to visit."
