"It was the best breakfast we have ever had. We are very grateful to the hotel for such a generous breakfast — it was so large that we couldn’t finish it and asked for takeaway boxes to have it on the road the next day. Dinner on the day of check-in was also excellent. We were traveling for 10 days, staying in a different place each night, and this was by far the best dinner of our entire road trip. I would recommend this hotel even for the kitchen alone."

"Our room didnt have proper windows but rather a porthole...not a problem since it lends to the historic setting of the hotel but a bit scary if you are a little claustrophobic. Luckily the room is spacious enough. Would have like a kettle and some tea in the room."

They were great with our median sized dog 🧡 There was no additional charge for it. If you travel by car, the hotel will arrange for you to use the payed city parking, located beneath the hotel."
