"We stayed during cold, wet weather. The room could not be heated about a pre-set temperature on the air conditioning and it felt cold to sit in though ok for sleeping. Also there was no heating at all in the bathroom, which was colder!"

"Had stayed there twice before when was a Kyriad but definitely improved more now! Staff were very friendly, bedroom was quiet, comfy bed, great shower. Food was good in evening and at breakfast. Dogs welcomed and good space around hotel for them to run."

"Good breakfast despite relocation into a conference room during hotel refurbishment. Re-allocation to 3rd floor room after complaining about the building noise which occured from 9-6pm. The job will be completed in Sept 2025 - be aware if booking. Electric car charging available on site, even though I did not use it. Secure car park with gate locked at night, good to see."

"Building work taking place on arrival in mid-July, which meant the evening restaurant was closed. We wanted to eat in the hotel but had to go out in the car again and find a restaurant in Chartres. The noise of the drillling and hammering when we got our 1st floor room at 3pm was terrrible. We were relocated to the 3rd floor but as we were directly above the work taking place it was still almost as noisy. Business travellers arriving after 6pm were not affected by this noise. The corridor at the lift end on the 3rd floor was soiled with dust, probably from the building work taking place."
