We enjoyed the best breakfasts we’ve ever had anywhere! We didn’t need to eat again until our evening meal. Fabulous restaurant ‘Tandem’, bakery and market are all nearby as are the start of beautiful coastal walks."

"This hotel is in a perfect location close to the ferry port and close to the shops and restaurants in Saint Sevain yet only a short walk to St Malo walled city. The building has been renovated to a very high standard retaining lots of the original features. Also has a lovey garden with swimming pool. Frederique and Philippe are excellent hosts with their wealth of local knowledge and provided us with an amazing breakfast consisting of fresh local produce from the area. After many visits to St Malo this has been my favourite hotel and will be booking again for sure."

"Very nice large house in Saint Malo. The host was very nice and helped us with everything , even helping to warm the food during the first evening when we were too tired to find a restaurant. They also sent us an email before our arrival asking about food allergies and preferred bed sheets - it was very nice. The room was beautiful with very cosy bed for our kid. They have excellent local toiletries (bio shampoo and stuff, local tea). The breakfast was amazing and changed a bit each morning (local cheese, local fish, pancakes and a lot of other things). Property also has a nice garden and a pool. This is an excellent place for families or couples. We also bought some jam&caramel on the spot. Definitely a very good option in Saint Malo."

"The only minus is the parking. If you have a low car you wont be able to enter their parking... The parking on the street is free of charge but not always possible to find a place. However, there is a large free parking 150m from the house so we used that."

"Maison Lacase is a stunning house very convenient to the old town of St Malo (a straight forward and easy 20min walk). The property itself is meticulous, the rooms spacious and comfortable, the interior design calming and beautiful. Every aspect of the stay has been thoughtfully and passionately curated. The breakfast that is included is an experience in and of itself - - an incredible and vast selection of tasty local and/or homemade food - - one of the best breakfasts I have ever had in a hotel or B&B. We would have loved to spend time in the garden terrace/pool but it rained throughout our stay. That, and the breakfast, is enough reason to want to come back!"

"The breakfast was very nice but even more than expected as Frederique made up a take-away for me as I had to catch the early morning ferry to Guernsey. She even walked to the Boulangerie with me on the way to the ferry to get fresh croissant."
