"We stayed two nights as a rest stop on our cycle trip and it did the trick. Lovely, comfortable upstairs flat in detached building within the grounds of the main house in an elegant part of Compiègne. Very pleasant host and family. Quiet at night. We parked our bicycles safely under the outside staircase. Delicious breakfast. We would have swum in the pool if the weather had been better. Within easy reach of the town centre."

"The main house looked really nice. The accommodation was refurbished to a very high standard. The breakfast was very nice, bread, pastries, jam, fruit, orange juice and coffee. The host made it look so lovely, setting up the table for us. The breakfast/reception room was very tastefully decorated as was the accommodation. The bedroom had plenty of space. The bed was very comfortable. The en-suite was very tastefully done. The only complaint was that there wasn't a small shelf in the shower to put your shampoo etc on. The shower was very powerful. We would definitely stay again."

"We were travelling down through France, and this is an ideal location not far off the motorway. Lovely old house in a quiet part of town, and very comfortable room. Warm welcome and a fantastic breakfast with fresh croissants and breads, homemade yoghurt and fresh fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice and homemade jams. Coffee was good too. Also, walkable into town for selection of reasonable restaurants, and close enough to walk to the Chateau de Compiègne, which is well worth a visit. Highly recommend whether you are travelling through or planning to stay longer"

"De stijl van de kamers / inrichting was echt prachtig! Alles klopte. We zijn warm ontvangen door de gastheer. Het buiteb zwembad is verwarmd dus ook nog kunnen zwemmen. De volgende ochtend een heerlijk ontbijt buiten op het terras. Echt een aanrader!"

"Chambre spacieuse, confortable, d’une propreté irréprochable, un petit bijou à la décoration soignée. Cadre verdoyant à 5mn du centre ville de Compiègne, place de parking gratuite, piscine magnifique bien chauffée, location de vélos bien pratique pour arpenter les pistes cyclables de la forêt, petit déjeuner de qualité (jus d’orange pressé, yaourts maison, en plus des viennoiseries…). Un séjour extra !!!"
