"The location is great, right by the castle. I had a special request for breakfast which was totally satisfied, it was truly enjoyable. Maryse and Pascal were very kind, respectful of my desire for a quiet time."

"What an amazing place on so many fronts! The decor is beautiful. Retro/Art Deco 1949-55. The hosts are wonderful people and fun to be with! And you even get Alexa finding you a favourite song. The town is pleasant too. The view of the castle from the bedroom is quite lovely, especially at night. There are no eating establishments in the town, so take advantage of taking dinner here, it is very nice, and served beautifully."

"From the moment I arrived here this promised to be a very special place to stay and it just got better and better. It started with the welcoming greeting of our hosts and their hospitality. The accommodation is spacious and luxurious. the interior design and furnishings are a delight and of exceptional high quality. Considerable thought has gone into every decorative finish, every fitting and every-piece of furniture to create a perfect place. Then there is the food! If I could award Michelin stars it would get the highest rating from me. Beautifully presented with flavours that delight the taste buds. I cannot wait to come back again."

"We had a truly delightful stay at Maison 1949. It would be hard to beat the warmth of the hospitality and the quality of the accommodation. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and the bathroom, spacious and very well equipped. Dinner and breakfast were a real treat - there was an exceptional range of choice in the morning with almost everything being homemade. This a charming place run by charming people and we would love to return."

"What made this stay so special is that it felt like coming home but being spoiled at the same time. Dinner was made while we forgot to reserve it. After a day of sight seeing we were welcomed with drinks and little snack. Everything on the site is correct, but it is difficult to describe this service. While other spots were ok, this is a place I would love to return and will recommend it to anyone staying in that area."

"Très bel accueil. Les hôtes ont été au petit soin pour nous avec une possibilité de manger le repas apporté par nos soins dans la salle à manger où ils nous ont même dressé une belle table. La chambre familiale est spacieuse et les lits de très bonnes qualités. Le petit déjeuner était fabuleux. avec pains et petits pains frais, fromage, charcuterie, fruits frais préparés, muffins faits maison. Nous recommandons cet établissement."

"Un accueil très chaleureux de la part de Marie-Claude et sa famille. Un superbe emplacement, au calme, avec un beau paysage et le chant des cigales. Sécurisé pour les enfants. A 5min d'Auriol et des commodités. Un superbe logement, très grand et joliment décoré, une grande pièce de vie toute équipée donnant sur une grande terrasse abritée, salle de douche et WC propres et fonctionnels, deux grandes et belles chambres (dont une climatisée). Accès à une très belle piscine et jeux pour les enfants."
