"We were initially greeted by the resident dog and cat which we loved xx The staff were great and very helpful. We were very happy with our room, lovely comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. The food at the restaurant was exquisit! All staff were very helpful and knowledgeable too."
"We couldn't make use of the balcony in our room as it was raining. Perhaps when we stay again we will have sun and be able to enjoy."
"We enjoyed this hotel. Again we had stayed there before and enjoyed it a lot. It was quite unconventional in some ways almost a bit 'Fawlty Towers' but with much charm. It took quite a while to find anyone to check us in but the chef patron when we knocked on the kitchen door was very charming as was Madam and her huge dog when she appeared. The breakfast was good. The dinner was good without being exceptional, in fact rather ordinary. On our previous visit the cuisine had been much more interesting. Everyone was very welcoming and pleasant. The location was very rural."

"Staying here was just amazing. The setting, the facilities, the owners. All just incredible. Sebastian and his wife were very accommodating and helpful. The pool and views are incredible. Comfortable beds and kitchen well equipped. We will most definitely stay again here, next time for longer"
"Staff were brilliant , friendly and approachable, room was cosy but acceptable in size, good view of the mountain and 'basket' lift. Location was super with basket lift to main ski lifts literally over the road and when I was there possibility to ski back to the hotel. There is a spacious lounge/bar area and ski rental in the basement. Breakfasts were good and for evening dining there are many restaurants within 5 mins walk. Definitely would stay again if in Alp d'Huez"

"Staying at Le Catalan was a fantastic experience overall. Check-in was smooth and effortless, and from the moment you arrive, the setting stands out. Perched on top of a hill, the hotel offers beautiful panoramic sea views, creating a calm and elevated atmosphere throughout the stay. Its location is ideal — within walking distance of the village center, yet peaceful and slightly removed, giving you the best of both worlds. The availability of free parking is also a great plus. Breakfast was exceptional, with quality offerings and a setting that makes you want to take your time. The staff were consistently warm, friendly, and attentive, adding a personal touch to the experience."
