Surrounded by beautiful countryside, this motel is only 2 km from beaches at Carnac and Plouharnel and offers free WiFi. Guests can enjoy a sauna and a fitness area with a power plate, at an extra charge. From April to September guests benefit from the use of L'Hippocampe's heated outdoor swimming pool with an integrated hot tub. Guest rooms feature en suite facilities, a satellite TV and a telephone. Some have a terrace. The outdoor terrace is surrounded by a lovely green park. The loc de ședere's tea room is a good place for a relaxing moment. Massages are available on request. L'Hippocampe is located at the heart of the oyster route. It is the ideal starting point for excursions in the South of Morbihan. Free parking is provided at the hotel boutique.

"Staff were absolutely amazing. Ideal location for the menhirs, next time I'd choose one of the ground floor rooms with a terrace overlooking the garden. Some great cycling along the coast nearby ."

"The hotel was lovely. The staff were helpful and friendly. The pool, quiet room and spa were a lovely addition to the hotel. We opted to pay the additional charge of 15€ pp per day for breakfast. There was a small but nice choice of fresh cold foods and the restaurant was exceptionally clean. WiFi was fast and reliable. The location for visiting areas within a short drive was fantastic."
"Just could be a couple more facilities in the room for longer staying guests i.e. tea and coffee making facilities, more plug sockets, we didn’t need it but some may like an English tv channel, more coat hangers (only 5) and perhaps a small fridge."

"The location was wonderful, just what I wanted - a quiet residential area away from the buzz of the city centre. Close to the beach, where you can go for a morning or evening walk. Also close to the supermarket and a big cinema, where I would go every evening. The room itself was bigger than I expected. Comfortable bed, nice balcony facing quiet courtyard, a door separating a room and a kitchenette from the entrance and bathroom area, which gave more privacy. The kitchenette with all essentials was very handy for me as I wanted to buy ready to heat food rather than eat out. Easy access to the city centre. You can either walk (15 -20 min) or take a bus number 3 or 4. The Bus fare is 1.5 euro. Also it's easy to get to the hotel from the aeroport by public bus. Take a bus number 1 at the aeroport , get off at Place Verdun, then take a bus number 3 from the same bus stop and get off at Lac. The hotel is a short walk from there."
