"The ambiance of the house and the garden is very friendly and welcoming. The hosts are sincere and very generous with their time. They engaged in a conversation and were very patient with my very limited knowledge of French. We have traveled quite a bit and I do not remember having BREAKFAST like the one we got here. The home made confiture and bread were tops! They also waited for us in the evening as we were running over an hour late for the check-in."

"Beautifully appointed and maintained property consisting main house and rooms in converted outbuildings.Set in large gardens with a terrace. Our stay was in a lofty, traditionally furnished room with large en suite shower and toilet in the main house. Our (french speaking) hosts were friendly and welcoming. Inclusive breakfast consisted of bread, home made cake, brioche and jams made from their own garden produce. Plenty of parking. Location was secluded and very quiet."

"Although there was a well equipped communal kitchen, this was located in the outbuildings. Although there was a small kettle in the room, tea and coffee were not supplied. Ditto shower gel/shampoo in the bathroom. There was a fixed price set menu available for an evening meal but no vegetarian option."

"Great breakfast with soft boiled eggs and at least 6 different home 'grown' jams'. Secure garage to park our scooters. Hosts even tumbled dry our wet clothes. Lovely garden & grounds."

"Accommodation was fine for our overnight stay. There was a kettle in one of our two rooms, but no tea or coffee in mine. Breakfast was adequate, but we didn't feel that paying €6 for a small piece of cheese and two small slices of ham, was worthwhile."

"My wife and I stayed at Le Tertre for two nights. We received a very friendly welcome on arrival by the owner, Gerard, who showed us to our room and explained the facilities. Both Gerard and his wife, Chantal, were very attentive to any questions that we had. Their welcome and hospitality was very genuine. The cleanliness, range of facilities, breakfast & dinner (with hosts and other guests) and location reflected the very high ratings given by previous guests and we are very happy to provide the same "excellent" score and review. We would have no hesitation in returning to Le Tertre and would be very happy to recommend it to others."
