"Jeanette and Richard are fantastic, so welcoming and helpful. The location is stunning and plenty of space to relax near the pool or under the nearby trees. The room was very comfortable, a lovely nights sleep and so clean. We loved it and really hope they we’ll return! Duras was lively at the night market and everyone was so welcoming."

"The property is situated in a wonderful location with fantastic views. Only a 4 min drive from Duras centre which has some nice cafes and eateries as well as the chateaux. A great base to drive to lots of neighbouring towns and villages which were a delight to explore.The room itself was large and beautifully decorated, impeccably clean and well maintained. Janette and Richard were excellent hosts, very friendly and welcoming and full of local knowledge and recommendations."

"This accommodation ticked all the boxes. Spacious bedrooms, meticulously clean, quiet, comfortable beds, ample parking including store for bikes, sizable bathroom with copious amounts of hot water, excellent breakfast and wonderful views of the surrounding countryside with only a short trip to visit the nearest town Duras. The swimming pool was clean and inviting but I did not venture in. It was the attention to detail that sets this accommodation apart from similar BnBs."

"The room was very clean, neat, with history to it. There is a swimming pool that can be seen from our window, which was also very clean, and we had a refreshing swim after walking back from the town. Richard was ever so helpful and accommodating providing a sumptuous breakfast daily as part of the the package. He let us wash our clothes in his washing machine for 10 euros. He even lit some candles for us for dinner in the garden! I could go on raving about the hospitality of Richard and Jeanette, but that would make this message too long! Thanks again!! "The property is about 30 mins walk from Duras and the town, and it was a hot day. Though Richard even offered to drive us to town and we walked back."

"A brilliant hotel in central Maubeuge. A 5 minutes walk from the train station, with free parking for hotel guests. The rooms are nice with very comfortable beds. Great showers in the bathrooms, really nice. The windows offer nice views over the town and the choice to upgrade rooms is brilliant. Very polite and friendly staff, helpful and nice. I did not try the restaurant below the hotel, but it looks fantastic and was busy with local people eating there every night, so definitely going to try that next time."

"Locația excelenta, aproape de centru, de magazine, restaurante și de stațiile de unde se luau mașinile care te duceau la pârtiile de schi. Zona de Spa excelenta. Apartamentele dotate cu tot ce e necesar, totul de buna calitate, paturi confortabile, terase spațioase. Personalul de la receptie foarte amabil, am primit foarte multe informații utile si chiar si umbrele intr-o zi ploioasa (multumiri in special lui Arnaud). Zona de depozitare schiuri spațioasă si încălzită. Centrul de închiriere echipament schi situat la 2 minute. Micul dejun deși nu era asigurat de hotel, au găsit soluții pentru ca noi sa avem mic dejun (patiserie proaspăta) asigurat la cerere dimineața. Existau multe magazine in proximitate, multe restaurante."
"Well organized and discreet host with a beautiful house placed in one of the best locations for exploring all Normandy landings famous sights. It also offered a good number of coffee capsules and we found that a very useful gift! We thank the host very much! The bathroom as well as the kitchen were big enough."
