"Patrick and Christine were very welcoming. Our room was well appointed and the breakfast was of a very high quality. Could not have asked for more."
"This is no reflection on Patrick and Christine but we must learn that Monday's are not a good day to find a restaurant open for dinner in the evening. Travelers should make sure they have a good lunch!!"

"We enjoyed a very warm welcome by the two owners. Always available to support. The kids enjoyed the faboulous covered swimming pool in the backyard, Lots of space to play. Next morning a wonderful French breakfast was served outside."

"La Demeure d'Othe is a stunning house and guests are genuinely welcomed into the home. We had a beautifully decorated family room with a view over the courtyard. The covered swimming pool was a real bonus as was the guest living-room; where we could sit and relax in the evening with a local beer or glass of wine. Breakfast was a real treat with homemade cakes, yogurt and jams."

"What an absolutely gorgeous find! The owners were SO welcoming and friendly, and have made a really lovely space for passing travellers (we stayed on night on our way further south). The pool and garden are delightful and the breakfast in the courtyard was delicious! We would love to stay again :)"

"A home away from home!!! I loved it here and felt so at home and relaxed like I was back home in Ireland at my mother's house. The smell of if lavender is amazing!! And the home cooked and baked breakfast is to die for! I really would have stayed longer if I had the time. I had a one night stop off as a solo female biker and the welcome was lovely and warm. It's the perfect stopover on the way to the Gorges du Daluis & Cian. I can really highly recommend it. There's a beautiful quaint garden and a pool and the views from the room and my own terrace were stunning! And to too it all off, there's a dog 🐶 If you have the chance, stop here. You won't regret it!"

"Die Wohnung liegt in einer schönen ruhigen Straße, sehr dicht am breiten Sandstrand. Wir haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt, tolle Einrichtung, gute Ausstattung, Platz sehr gut genutzt… Das schöne Zentrum von Saint-Georges-de-Didonne ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Auch Royan ist gut zu erreichen und lädt zum Shoppen ein. Am Abend lohnt sich ein Spaziergang an der Strandpromende mit Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang und Royan. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!"
