"Enjoyed the peaceful and historic town. Our host had a fire going in the wood stove (the only heat for the apartment) and it was cosy on our arrival. He also suggested walking the town, there were many informational markers with history of the town in both French and English. The kitchen and bathroom seem newly remodeled with convection cooktop, lovely shower and plenty of hot water. As a bonus we were able to watch France's victory the final game of the Six Nations Rugby Championships on the television."

"Fabulous location out in the sticks. Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly. We went to watch the Tour de France on a very wet day. The owners offered us the chance to dry out in front of their fire when we got back. Sadly it was a flying visit and we had a ferry to catch..."

"It is just amazing - to have a castle with a real fireplace all to yourselves! It's a real old castle, with a vast territory, a pond, with a lot of authentic things inside and a well made renovation. We really enjoyed our stay and liked everything, the well equipped kitchen, the old staircase, the portrait and other pictures on the wall, chocolate candies prepared specially for us by the hostess. As we stayed there at the beginning of January, we used the heating, it is enough for the apartment. We also visited several places, highly recommend Salines, Besancon, Dole and Waterfalls near Arbois."
