"This is a smashing little place just outside the station and a few minutes’ walk into the town centre. A little old-fashioned, which is part of its charm, very helpful staff, lovely breakfast and clean, comfortable room. We were able to park our motorbike right outside during this brief visit - always appreciated."

"I’ve seen some negative reviews about the facilities and I’m not sure why. Hallways could do with a touch of fresh paint and it would have been better to have a wall-mounted shower in the bath; otherwise this is a really nice place."

"I loved the views from our room. With windows on two sides you could see the main street and over the patio and pool to the hillsides beyond. The staff were very friendly and provided safe storage for our bicycles."

"Old fashioned room in an old fashioned hotel but full of charm. Great meals at a good price, even gluten free bread specially for my wife. Lots of locals use the bar/restaurant which is a good sign. Secure storage for our bikes. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
