"Le gîte a parfaitement répondu à nos attentes. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les chambres au style authentique et atypique, qui apportaient beaucoup de charme à notre séjour. L'environnement extérieur est tout aussi plaisant, avec un cadre verdoyant situé à proximité d'une rivière, ce qui invite à la détente et au dépaysement. Nous serions ravis d'y revenir en été, car nous imaginons que ce lieu doit être encore plus magnifique à cette période, avec la nature en pleine floraison et la possibilité de profiter pleinement des espaces extérieurs"
"C'est vraiment pour chercher la petite bête, mais il convient de mentionner qu'il y a une route principale située non loin du gîte. Il peut arriver, de temps à autre, que l'on entende le passage des véhicules, en particulier des camions. Cela reste toutefois assez ponctuel et n'altère pas significativement le calme et la quiétude générale du lieu."

"The house is beautiful, spacious, very comfortable and clean with everything one needs- bbq and dining area outside with a lovely garden with sun loungers, power showers, towels, iron/hairdryer etc, the kitchen is well stocked with all equipment. The Lounge is spacious with plenty of seating.. The area is super quiet and the roads are perfect for a ramble. Natalie, our host was lovely and welcoming. Although the location is remote, there is a village within 5km with a train station and a beautiful local bakery within walking distance."

"La Martinoise was absolutely the best accommodation we could have hoped for. It’s in a great location close to the centre of Saint Martin. There was everything that we needed for the perfect stay on Ile de Ré, the kitchen was well equipped and the pantry items (and complimentary bottle of rosé and water) provided were much appreciated, it was very clean, beautifully decorated, the beds were extremely comfortable. The host Alex very kindly met us at the property both on arrival to thoroughly explain everything to us and give recommendations, and on departure to check that everything went well and to get our feedback. I highly recommend this accommodation, it was by far the best accommodation in the 7 weeks of travelling in France, and also the best experience with an accommodation booking! Our expectations for everything were definitely exceeded! Merci beaucoup Alex 😊"

The comfortable but grand atmosphere set by the old building. I had no time to wander the garden but from the upstairs passage window it looked amazing. The mattress provided a solid sleep."

"The studio apartment was gorgeous. Very cute and lovely to just sit at the window and relax. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable (apart from the bed not being so good). It was helpful to have a bath. The cooking facilities were good. Nice location with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, easy access to the metro and generally good to walk around. It wasn't at all noisy when we were there. The lift is good, with just a few stairs to go up from where it stops."
