Lots of amazing walks along country roads and in tranquil woodlands. A perfect rural retreat. The hosts provided a wonderful welcome pack of local produce, including some delicious home-made jam!"

"Fabulous place for our week stay in Chartres. Our host Nina was just lovely! The apartment is beautifully decorated, spacious and very comfortable. We had everything we needed to cook and relax. The outdoor space is very inviting. Free off street parking. It is out of town but an easy 15 minute walk to the local village with small supermarket, tabacs, bakery and pharmacy. Nice lakes and river walks around town too. Easy to get into Chartres and further afield by car. We loved it!"
