"We stayed at the Pyramide for a one night stopover in our drive from Calais to the South of France. It was a good location meaning we did not have to drive into Orleans. We stayed in a superior double room which was modern, clean and well appointed. The hotel has ample free parking right outside. The staff were friendly and efficient. Job done - does what it says on the tin. Very good value for money"

"English speaking staff who were very welcoming. Hotel corridors under refurbishment but that wasn't a problem. We were informed about this on booking. Free parking. Room and bathroom clean and value for money, if looking a little tired. We pre-ordered a group dinner for around 20 people. Three courses for 20Euro. It was delicious. How did they do it for only 20E? Breakfast was good and as expected. We will return if only for the evening meal!"

"Only that the reception was understaffed; in that reception staff had to deal with check-ins and tend to the bar at the same time meaning delayed service for thirsty Brits. It's a cultural thing perhaps. The French always underestimate the profit to be made from a group of Brits at the bar."

"The room was good, clean, and had all the usual facilities as expected, so I have no complaints. The evening meal was pre-organised for a group of us Matra enthusiasts, and was lovely. Breakfast was also good, and the staff were both polite and helpful. I have been to Romorantin before as it was the home of Matra Automobles and have visited La Pyramide previously so it was as expected."

"Il n'y avait plus de gel douche, il n'y avait pas les outils pour permettre au personnel de changer la pile de la serrure, le matelas était usé (creux inconfortable) et pas de mode d'emploi pour la clim réversible qui n'en a fait qu'à sa tête"
