"Very cozy apartment in a quiet suburb, the decoration and furniture were greatly appreciated. The garden and the view are amazingly beautiful, we loved spending some time in it at the end of the day. The host were really nice. The location on Tenerife is ideal for this part of the island with easy access to the motorway, parking always easy in the street."

"Very clean and spacious room located in the good neighborhood. We especially liked all the little details like the decorations here and there, basic supplies in the bathroom and in the fridge. The garden is beautiful and a nice place to relax."

"Everything was great. The room is so clean and stylish! The views are so amazing there. We always had breakfast and dinner outside with unbelievable views. We also really liked dogs and a cat, they are so lovely and kind. In the fridge we found fruits from the garden, which was fantastic. I made fresh juice from them. We really liked the place!"

"As it was december it was a bit cold in the room at night. Maybe a heater inside could solve the situation."

"We had a lovely few days at Elescondite. Juan and his husband has prepared an amazing room above their property entrance, basically an old gatehouse. It was clean and has a kitchenette with everything you need. It was also a pleasant surprise to see a generous amount of food in the fridge for our breakfasts. The bed was comfortable, there's plenty of room to store luggage, etc. The bathroom was a good size, clean and well stocked with toiletries. The wifi was excellent as well and totally sufficient for working remotely. One of the biggest bonuses at this property is the lovely garden and the amazing views along the coast and of Teide. Really spectacular. Car parking is available on the street outside the property. Juan is full of tips for places to eat and so on around the area. English is spoken through Google Translate, so if you can speak Spanish, that's even better. Very friendly and generous hosts."

"La posizione è ottima per girare tutta la parte nord, in 30 minuti si raggiungono diverse destinazioni, tra cui anche Puerto de la Cruz e Santa Cruz. Inoltre, da qui si possono scoprire posti meno battuti dal turismo di massa. Juan, il proprietario, è stato gentilissimo e la comunicazione con lui è stata molto agile. La location è molto curata esteticamente (sia l'appartamento che il giardino della proprietà, che è a disposizione degli ospiti) e anche l'attenzione del proprietario nel mettere a disposizione cibo e bevande per la colazione e una bottiglia di vino locale di benvenuto. Un altro punto a favore è la possibilità di trovare parcheggio facilmente e poter raggiungere il centro del paese El Sauzal in pochi minuti a piedi."

"Abbiamo viaggiato durante le feste natalizie e probabilmente abbiamo sottovalutato le temperature basse del nord (rispetto a quelle più miti e temperate del sud) e l'umidità notturna e dei giorni di pioggia. Detto ciò, nella stanza era presente una piccola stufetta elettrica ma per evitare l'accumulo di umidità sarebbe stato comodo avere un deumidificatore che permetta anche di riscaldare la stanza almeno la sera."
