Acest hostel este stabilit în centrul orașului Cairo, la doar 200 de metri de piața renumită Talat Harb. Oferă încăperi spațiu de relaxarețioase, dotate cu aer condiționat, o bucătărie mică pentru oaspeți și o recepție deschisă non-stop. Toate cazările Hostelului The Freedom au mobilier simplu, balcon și încălzire. Unele apartamente au baie privată, iar altele au baie comună pe hol. Dimineața este servit un formulă de mic dejun continental. În apropiere se află mai multe bistroe egiptene și internaționale, cinematografe și centre comerciale. La doar câțiva metri există ceainării, cafenele și baruri unde se fumează narghilea. Printre serviciile puse la dispoziția oaspeților se numără facilități de spălătorie și depozit de bagaje gratuit. La biroul de turism al hostelului pot fi rezervate excursii, iar la proprietate există și un colț de internet, pentru ca oaspeții să poată ține legătura cu rudele și prietenii.

"It is right in downtown. Walkable. Had single beds in dorm which i liked along with a side table with lock. Had hanging areas in room behind door and clothes drying from window. Clean and spacious bathrooms. Have a communal fridge. Staff friendly and helpful in booking tours and guidance. Very filling breakfast. I would take along bread and cheese and jam as takeaway sandwiches for later. They have beans, pickled veges, boiled egg, cheese, jam, bread and fried falafel for breakfast."
"It is a lot of stairs to reach with luggage. Its 4 flights of stairs i think. The communal area has old furniture."

"I took the private room with attached bathroom. It was really good value, comfortable bed and good bathroom. Room was large and the staff very lovely indeed."

"Kindness, hospitality and professionalism of all employees, Eslam especially, but also nice Ahmed and all female personel we had interaction with. Hostel is clean, very pleasant, settled in beautiful, old, but neat and well kept building, not necessary to say super centrally located. Breakfast is full and super tasty...without exaggerating, all experience with Freedom Hostel was just right, we both just loved our stay here. When I return to Cairo, I won't search for new place to stay, I have found it."
