Adresăul Solymar este un complex hotelier în stil mediteranean, așezat în Golful Pelican, la epicentrul orașului Puerto Ayora, la doar câteva minute de Gara Charles Darwin. Pune la dispoziție un bar și o piscină încălzită în aer liber. Cazările, cu balcon privat mobilat și perspectivă uimitoare la ocean au daperii opace și baie privată atât cu duș, cât și cu articole de toaletă gratuite. Televizorul are canale locale, iar oaspeții au la dispoziție un minibar. Printre facilitățile oferite se numără un sistem de control climateric și un serviciu de trezire. Aceste camere centru de tratamentețioase sunt de nefumători. Oaspeții pensiuneului se pot bucura de liniște admirând Golful Pelican și flora și fauna din Galapagos, deși se vor afla la câțiva pași de magazine, cafenele în aer liber, galerii de artă, spațiu de relaxarețiu de luat masae și localuri de noapte. Pe plaja Playa Tortuga, unde se ajunge cu mașina în 5 minute se pot admira iguane marine. Univers Culinarul stabilit pe malul oceanului oferă un meniu cu preparate sushi, iar oaspeții pot încerca preparatele care îmbină fructele de mare din Oceanul Pacific și aromele locale, propuse de bucătarul șef.

"One of the most beautifully located hotels in Puerto Ayora. View from the room onto the bay is amazing and if you are lucky, there is local wildlife that will accompany you during your stay. We had two bluefooted boobies that kept us company during breakfasts. And the breakfasts they serve are delicious! There are not many choices, but the quality is excellent and meals do not get boring even during a longer stay. The hotel has an infinity pool and a hot tub, however if you want to use the latter you have to tell the reception desk so they have some time to heat up the water. All in all, this is one of the best choices for your stay in Santa Cruz island."

"Wat een locatie, elke ochtend wakker worden met vogels, schildpadden, zeeleeuwen en leguanen bij het ontbijt. Alle gelegenheden zitten naast de deur en wanneer je terug komt zetten ze de hottub voor je aan. Elke dag werd de kamer netjes schoon gemaakt."

"The staff is very friendly, we were able to communicate in English and Spanish. We used the laundry service, $3 per pound, laundry was returned same day when dropped off in the morning. The breakfast was included and was a good basic breakfast - eggs, toast, fruit, yogurt and nuts. There is a nice lounge in addition to the breakfast area. We enjoyed wine from the hotel one night by the water (about $32 for the bottle). This is a great place to see wildlife - we saw sea lions by the pool, blue boobies while eating breakfast, pelicans and iguanas. We did not use the hot tub, you must book a timeslot but saw a few people using it. The shower pressure is good and partial ocean view room on 2nd floor had a great view of the ocean."

"I ate 3 meals at the hotel all delicious. Every single employee at the hotel was wonderful however the front desk person went above and beyond when i could not figure out which port my Galapagos cruise left from. Thank you so very much i would definitely recommend and would love to return!!!"
