"We stayed here for 4 weeks with our 11 month old. It was a fantastic location right near the beach and a great spot for exploring locally and more widely. The staff were brilliant with our daughter and so accommodating to our needs, especially Karol and Mauricio. The cabanas we stayed in was great - air conditioning in both rooms was very good and we saw so much wild life from our terrace. Would definitely recommend."

"Very good place to stay, the room is on the smaller side but perfect for a short stay. Very clean. There is a restaurant overlooking the pool, serving very good food. They organised for us a boat tour in Marino Ballena, which was an amazing experience!"

"Parking spaces on the hotel premises are very limited and parking along the street was also limited as there are other hotels/ restaurants around attracting people and cars."

"Clean pool, next door bar. We had a lovely cocktail in the pool... The hotel has a good vibe. The attached restaurant has very good food. We had fish skewers and it was tasty.. great location but overall we were not very impressed with Uvita. Great shower."

"The only negative things were the bed linens and duvet, it all smelled a bit funny, a bit damp and musty. The room is very basic, not much closet space to store clothes."

"Clean, lovely pool and surroundings Owner very helpful booked a 3 1/2 hour horse ride on the beach for sunset through the hotel which was much much cheaper than GYG and it was excellent. I am a horse owner and the horses were in good condition and well cared for, sturdy and safe and it was the best trail ride I’ve had overseas."

"This property might be beachfront, but you can’t enter the beach from the property. You have to walk around 400m up the road and around the corner to go to the beach through the national park entrance which costs you US$6 Once on the beach, it is beautiful"

"The property is very close to both the beach and the national park entrance, so it's great for tourist activities. The pool is well kept and nice to swim in. The restaurant staff were friendly and attentive"

"We stayed here during the shoulder season. As the hotel was a little quieter, the restaurant and bar wasn't open every day and it was difficult to get the correct opening hours from the team. There are other options for eating in the vicinity but it would have been good to know about the on site restaurant."
