Palafito Loft

"Comfortable bed and bathroom, nicely decorated. We booked a loft without terrace at the Street side. I am certain the ones with terrace are much nicer and also more quiet. Great restaurant in the Same Street, 2 minute walk."

"I did not like Castro as it's very noisy with constant traffic. There are much nicer rural areas on the island. But the loft was great!"

"Staying in the palafitos was amazing- we had a balcony with amazing views, the apartment was lovely. Cooking facilities were good. A unique place to stay. Gym nearby does play music but this didn’t bother us too much. Negatives- on the expensive side- they charged us tax which is usually for residents and not visitors from abroad. I did query this but was told it was because it was an apartment and not a hotel? We decided to pay anyway as it was only 2 nights in a great location but would appreciate more transparency about this."

"The location is just amazing, the landscape breathtaking really. Everything inside of the apartment looks brand new and clean. Viviana vicuña, the administrator is a lovely and very friendly person, ready help us at anytime, even she gave us a taxi driver recommendation And everything went just great. Nice palafito experience"

"The rooms didn’t have proper windows, that was a shame. And the place was expensive enough-from my perspective- to have a washing machine. But I guess it’s a matter of space. Small but cosy anyway. The shower a bit uncomfortable."

"This place is such a vibe - cozy, yet super spacious and comfortable. One of our favorite places we stayed at in Chile. The sea view deck was such a nice place to sip on a beer and relax. Close to yummy restaurants too!"

"my only quibble with this porperty was key handover. It was tricky toorganise and we ended up ahving to wait quite a long time for the lady to arrive to hand over the keys."

"The apartment is spacious, centrally heated (HUGE advantage in the cool weather we had), well and tastefully equipped. I especially appreciated the damask sheets in the bed. It is a 10-minute walk to the town center. We had views towards the road (no sea view), but there was no noise from the street."

"The infomails we received sounded a bit strict (a lot of rules, dos and don'ts), but in the end the staff was really friendly. A bit difficult to reach, though - the opening hours of the reception desk are limited."

"La ubicación es perfecta, llegas a la plaza de armas en 10 min caminando, tiene un restaurante de pastas en el 1er piso exquisito, Viviana, la dueña, es un amor, está todo limpio e impecable, todo funciona perfecto. El depto con vista al mar tenia todo lo necesario para estar comodo, pudimos hacer check mas temprano, viviana siempre estuvo atenta, volvería sin pensarlo, 10 de 10"
