Baracca Backpacker se găsește în Aurigeno, la 15 km de Piazza Grande Locarno, și are o grădină, o terasă, facilități de grătar și garaj securizat privată gratuită. Construită în 1958, proprietatea se află la aproximativ 16 km de Golfclub Patriziale Ascona. Proprietatea oferă o bucătărie comună și un birou de turism. Camerele de la acest hostel includ și WiFi gratuit și o baie comună cu duș. Unele camere spațioase sunt dotate cu o vedere impresionantă la relief. "It's a very peacefull and beautiful place. I really enjoyed my stay. The room was confortable, the kitchen had everything I needed to make breakfast and cook dinner. Everything was super clean. There's a lot of information available about all the things that can be done closeby."

"Das Hostel Baracca Backpacker ist ein wunderbarer Ort im Maggiatal! Es ist ein typisches Hostel mit seinen Mehrbettzimmern, Gemeinschaftsküche und Gemeinschaftsbad - und ist doch so viel mehr! Eine kleine Unterkunft mit ca. 15 Betten am Rande des Dorfes Aurigeno, mit wunderschönem Garten, den man nutzen darf, viel Ruhe, alles gepflegt und sehr sauber. Das besondere: die freundliche, warmherzige Atmosphäre, die durch die Betreiber Monika und Reto ausgestrahlt wird. Monika ist für alle Fragen offen und sehr hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank dafür an euch beide! Wer mit Einfachheit und Entschleunigung umgehen kann, ist hier genau richtig."
"Keine Kritik, nur Hinweise für diejenigen, die sich mit der Einfachheit dieses Hostels doch etwas schwer tun könnten: Es gibt ein kleines gemütliches Sofa, Aufenthaltsraum wäre ansonsten die Küche. Das Leben im Hostel Baracca Backpacker spielt sich überwiegend draußen ab. Die Zimmer sind für alle zugänglich, auch Monika kommt mal rein, zum Blumen gießen. Das Bad ist schlicht. Und wie das in einem Dorf so ist, die Kirchenglocke auf der anderen Straßenseite teilt die Zeit lautstark mit! Zum Bus sind es 20min zu Fuß, bis dahin hat man aber schon viel gesehen."

"La signora all’accoglienza super cordiale e disponibile. Punto super strategico. La campana della chiesa di fronte ti permette di non controllare l’orologio perché ogni mezz’ora scocca. Sembra di vivere un sogno meraviglioso. Cascate bellissime a 6 minuti di macchina. Spiaggia vista fiume a 2 minuti. Tutto stupendo, davvero bellissimo per un weekend di svago immersi nella natura. Bagno sempre pulitissimo! Cucina comune sempre in ordine. Davvero non ho nulla da lamentare. Solo un po’ il costo ma essendo in Svizzera è anche un prezzo ottimo. Ps fate spesa lì vicino e mangiate in ostello se non volete spendere 60€ per un tagliere ahahahh."
