"We had the most amazing stay. Everything was magic. The sound of the river and rain hitting the wagon was magical while you slept. The ducks quacking and running around was so entertaining and the scones on arrival was such a personal touch. We will be returning very soon. The kids would love it 🥰"

"Es hat mir alles gefallen! Ich habe mit meinen zwei Jungs für 4 Nächte im Heu übernachtet. Die Vermieterin ist super freundlich! Der wunderbare Garten hat uns jeden Tag neues entdecken lassen, die Tiere waren toll. Ich habe nichts auszusetzen!"

Leute, die meinen für den günstigen Preis ein 10 Sterne Luxushotel erwarten zu müssen! Wer es klinisch rein haben möchte, sollte in die Stadt fahren und in ein Hotel gehen, nicht aufs Land, auf einen Bauernhof mit Tieren und Heu für ein paar Euro die Nacht!

"What a joyful, lovely place!! I am not going to lie: it's in the middle of nowhere, and getting there is a whole adventure (especially if you get the wrong road) but once you reach, it's a fabulous place to be. The owners are so incredibly kind and helpful! They made everything possible and impossible to help us with our stay. We spent 3 nights and it seems we were the first ones to occupy the tent (I must say, the bed was HEAVENLY) so as you can imagine, it was spotless and shiny new. The tent is quite spacious and very comfy. There are two kitchens nearby (beautifully equippped with everything needed and classified rubbish bins) with electricity and plugs (in fact, this is the place to charge your phone). The toilets are also close by (and very clean) and the showers are a joy (loved to be barefoot on the pebbles). They even have gel and shampoo (and it smells great!). Everything is done with love and joy, and it shows. We loved it!"

No complaints, but bear in mind there is no electricity in the tent itself, so in case you want to charge or need electricity you have some charging points or the kitchen. Also wifi is not strong outside the reception area.

"Recomand din inima acest loc, departe de lumea dezlantuita, chiar langa padure. Casutele sunt intime, la o distanta rezonabila unele de altele, cu tot ce ai nevoie pentru cateva zile de conectare cu natura si deconectare de la agitatie si stres. Proprietarii, Vlad si Lavinia, sunt doi oameni extraordinari care au pus mult suflet in toata locatia si care te ajuta cu tot ce ai nevoie (nu exageram😁, pe noi ne-au recuperat dintre munti, dupa ce ne-am ratacit si ne-a prins intunericul si ploaia). Jos palaria! Cu siguranta vom reveni.🫶"

Drumul pana la Carbunari este destul de rau, multe gropi-cratere, neasteptat pentru o zona turistica asa de populara. Dar asta tine de administratia publica. In rest, la cazare totul a fost perfect.

At this price you need to expect a basic accommodation, which it is. Do yourself a favour and rent a scooter right from the beginning of your stay. The scooters rental is not really close to the resort so best you go there with the bus and then drive up to the accommodation with the scooter.

Swimming pool was closed for the four days I stayed there. Food options were limited but it was during Ramadan.

Sa stricat boilerul si nu am mai putut face baie in ultimele zile,deși am vorbit cu personalul ne.a zis sa așteptăm să se încarce,am așteptat doua zile și nimic apoi noi am plecat.

"Amazing little house with garden. Everything was very clean, a little oasis in nature. The host was great, made sure we had everything we needed. We can also recommend having dinner on the balcony. the food was delicious and it was so peaceful. Can 100% recommend! We also booked the safari to Uduwalawe directly with them, they organised everything and it was great!!"

"Super accueil de la part d Yves qui nous a explique l origine de ce beau jardín proche de la Forêt et nous a offert une noix de coco a boire. Le campement est calme , la tente est tres confortable et les parties communes toilettes et douche sont tres propres. Nous avons pu cuisiner dans un bel espace en écoutant le chant de la nature....nous recommandons cette belle experience humaine et nature."
