"The apartment was really big and having the pool was great while also being able to swim off the dock. We didn’t get to use the kayaks because the current was too strong but nice to have the option. You can walk to a small limited shop (and even to a bigger one further up the road if you don’t want to hire a buggy) and 4 restaurants are within walking distance. Nice that boats pick you up from the dock and nice being out of the main town. Only a short taxi ride from the ferry dock. You can walk to a centre within 4 minutes to book trips"

"No prices on the drinks at the pool bar and the cocktails were expensive. Happy hour in the bar over the road was great fun though. We also didn’t book anything through the hotel as the cost was significantly higher to do so. No breakfast options."

"10/10 on everything. Location to town, coffee bar in the am, free use of kayaks, paddle boarding. Appearance and comfort of the facility was 10/10. Beach front chairs and shade on the beach. The pool to beach and bar are right outside the room. Having a swim up bar was so nice. Rob the bartender was amazing. The grounds were well kept, we felt very secure through the day and night as they have a security guard on the PM shift. The builder of Lighthouse actually lives there and he is around during the day and makes sure we had everything we needed. Even though we were there for relax/adventure...you wouldn't need to leave the villas at all. We left for breakfast, dinners, and expeditions. We did snorkel one day, and the boat picked us up at our dock right out front of the villas. This Villa isn't commercialized like Mahogany Bay, Victoria House, or SunBreeze. Very much felt like home at Lighthouse Villas."

It’s clean, well maintained, the staff is above and beyond and the facilities-nice pool with swim up bar, private beach, access to free use of SUP/kayaks, lots of seating by the pool and beach. We stayed in unit 4-top floor/entire floor, unobstructed beach view, amazing veranda, comfortable living area, well appointed kitchen, bathrooms are so clean and just a beautiful space! Cute place, Happys across the road for a quick bite; the Black Orchid is about 1.5 blocks and delicious; Someplace South about 1/3mile and very nice outdoor dining-they are just slow with service, but the staff is so nice."

"Like most everyone, it is a little far from San Pedro and the roads to get there a little rough, to say the least. However, it is quiet and the area south has their own neighborhood watch with 2 full time security guards who watch about a 2.5 mile stretch. The police satellite unit is one block down."

"The room is huge! A two bedroom place with full kitchen and living room. A wonderful balcony! The location is beautiful right on the beach. The staff are wonderful and they are so helpful! We had so much fun and want to come back!"

"Exceeded expectations. The suite was huge and had a full kitchen and an enormous dining space. We were on the first floor but didn't hear much noise overhead and we could just walk out onto our porch and straight to the pool. Everyone on staff was super friendly and helpful, shout out to Rob who makes amazing cocktails and to the night security guard, Andreas, who is always available in the evenings if you have any questions. There isn't really a beach but you can go swimming off a nearby dock, though we stuck with the pool which was very nice. We also did a snorkeling excursion to Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley, organized via the hotel, which picked us up and dropped us off right at the dock, very convenient. There's a decent tequilaria with food and drinks right across the street. A pretty touristy tiki joint a five minute walk away. And a less than ten minute walk away one of our favorites, Someplace South Cafebar."

"I wasn't quite sure the layout of the islands when we booked this place, it is about a 15-20 minute golf cart ride from the main part of town. On the flipside this does mean it's pretty quiet which is nice. On the downside, we got into town pretty late and had a hard time getting a ride down (I think we could have organized this via the hotel and would recommend doing so if you arrive late)."

"we were assigned a high floor which offered even better views but ,being older was a bit more of a stair climb than we would have liked. if your a a bit more physically challenged request a low floor."
