"A very nice and well equipped apartment on the 8th floor. The young lady who represented the owners was very helpful and nice about everything. The lady who was responsible for cleaning did a superb job."

As I have a problem with a leg I wrote the owners beforehand to be assured that access to the apartment was easy and was informed that it was, however, when we arrived it turned out that we first had to access one building and take a lift four floors and then walk a bit to access the building with the apartment. It should also be mentioned that there was a problem with the lock on the door leading out to the street, and it was often difficult to open from the outside. For the first three nights we were assigned an other apartment one floor below that was not up to standard at all. We were, however granted a discount for the inconvenience. We had not been informed about this beforehand. The television in the apartment did not work, and was not fixed during our stay. The apartment was on the eight floor and there was no sign for emergency exit on the floor. The owners lived in Italy and all contact with them was through the young lady representing them in Mindelo.

A limpeza podia ser melhor.

Umezeala din cameră, faptul că doar se ventila aerul din încăpere și bineînțeles faptul că nu poți deschide geamul, dar acest lucru este specific hotelurilor din Hong Kong.

"I loved the resort, everyone is nice, food was good and good service, room was cleaned daily, had a one bedroom and it was spacious and comfortable. Pool were beautiful. Location was ok, shuttle to beaches which is a great touch, 25 min to palm downtown or 13$ cab. Safe! Would return"

I would have liked if they separate the kids from the pool bar area to the other pool .

"From the moment we booked we have been kept up to date with the owner from booking to how to get into the apartment everything was simple. The apartment was spotless and had everything you need. Just a short walk from the marina one way and the town centre the other way. Will definitely stay there again."

"We were meet by the owner Michel and his staff. All the staff were very accommodating and pleasant they made us all feel at home. The staff did their very best to ensure we enjoyed our stay, they were very attentive. The property was perfect for me and my whanau (family) we live near the ocean in NZ. We enjoy being near the ocean and forest. A great opportunity for all to rejuvenate mind and body. We were all able to relax and enjoy the private beach. We were very grateful and blessed for their assistance with the option of a late check-out and help with transport to Uturoa Airport. The accommodation was very comfortable, clean and spacious. The Kitchen/pantry storage and dining area's were clean perfect for our needs. We will be back. Tau Ke!!"

"Absolutely lovely property! The staff cannot do enough for you! Friendly and go out of their way to help you. Great location 10 minute walk from rockley beach and right by many places to eat. I felt safe as a solo female in the property. It was also quiet and the pool was well maintained."

The adress was a little bit complicated because the entrance is in the inner part of the block.

"The unit was very very clean. We were close to the beach. Walking distance. Beach towels , chairs and umbrella were available. There was a beach bar right on the beach that we ate at. We did not rent a car. We used M&M taxi while we were there. Awesome service. We also ate at Miss B. Another spot on the beach front. We enjoyed our time. Thank you. We were a party of three. Wifi was able to handle all your streaming needs."

"Excellent no complains great value for the price the nightly rates do not do justice to te quality clean spacious room full size kitchen and bathroom. If you are traveling on a budget I highly recommend this place. I'll be staying there next time. Very quiet also. AC also available and good quality WIFI."

Walking around the neighborhood because too many dogs. Though most were chained but their threatening bucks and sometimes meeting unchained ones scared me off. I don’t like dogs!

"The location was very convenient. I really love the ocean view and especially hearing the ocean splashes everyday during my stay, it was really breathtaking, relaxation and good service. Also the food at the restaurant below my room had very delicious food, also from the balcony of the restaurant I enjoyed the ocean view and beautiful sunsets. I'm in love with this island especially in Westpunt!"

I do not really have any complaints about anything, because all of my wishes have been granted during my stay. So I have nothing to complain about. Keep up the good work and service! Everything was just perfect!

A bit of coordination initially to get to the property due to the road, but the owner was wonderful at making it easy, and other taxis had no problem getting there after my initial attempt.

The apartment was very well equipped but really quite small for 4 people

"Дуже гарно що була машина для прання. В таку жару декілька разів прали одяг. Балкон в тихий двір те що треба. Вход по коду теж супер що не треба одні ключі ділити на двох. Якщоб ще можна було використовувати підземний паркінг за окрему плату булоб супер. А так невелика квартира зі всім що було треба. Можна ще раз відвідати. Парковка загальна біля дому,"

В останій день відкрили шафу зі стаканами, і були розбиті склянки,а це каже про те що ніхто іх не мив. Або прибиральниця розбила і залишила щоб списати з відпочіваючіх. Золог повернули нічого не списували бо синули фото як знайшли розбиті стакани. Не хватало шампуня та мила. Хитався унітаз.

The only downside was the lack of basic hygiene items like towels and soap. Overall, a great place to stay!

"Large very well appointed apartment in Block Altmore A. Bedroom looking, which was lovely looking out onto Table Mountain and living room to the canal and city. Felt very secure and a short walk to the Waterfront and V&A. Everything you needed in the kitchen and both washing machines and tumble dryer which we didn’t use but good to have. Good balcony to the front with table and chairs, balcony off the bedroom balcony overlooking Road and mountain. Daily cleaning (our gin disappeared 🤣). Very strongly advised that any noise after 10.00 would result in a fine. We are in our mid 60’s and don’t want to party but do like to listen to music which we felt we shouldn’t. Loud continual drilling started before 9.00am which I know won’t go on forever but you certainly don’t need an alarm and took away from the otherwise peaceful atmosphere. Also this apartment had a very safe secure parking space included which we needed. Great place to stay"

Interiorul este curat, aerul condiționat funcționează bine, iar atmosfera generală e plăcută. Locația e ideală pentru plimbări și acces rapid la tot ce ai nevoie. Un loc confortabil pentru un sejur relaxant. Recomand!"

In a doua seară nu am avut apa calda.

"There is a kitchen where I was able to prepare my own meals. All the facilities are included e.g a cooker, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave etc It was a home from home apartment which was to my liking and style. The host Marcia is excellent and extremely helpful. I would describe her as a problem solver and very knowledgeable. Including Yolanda who does the day to day Management of the accommodation . She is always helpful and very friendly no matter how busy her day is . I have recently extended my stay for a further 18 days as I am very happy staying here whilst visiting friends and overseeing some renovation work on my own property."

Due to the fact that we are on a main Road there is ongoing traffic and the noise can sometimes be a bit loud from the music boxes the cars and taxi drivers have in their vehicles. There is no noise control on vehicles in Guyana. However, after a time you get use to it.

"Very clean apartment, the beds were clean and the mattresses were firm and good. The apartment had everything we needed. The fress bread from the petrol station next to the apartment was very yummy!!"

"Comfortable and very clean cottage, set in beautiful tropical gardens in a very quiet location around 5 minutes from downtown. Easy to hire a car at a reasonable rate from the hosts. Great pick up and drop off. Very nice pool."

The bathroom is tiny and the shower fitting is loose with limited water flow. But these things did not detract from a great stay.

"The property was perfect for our family - it allowed us to eat at the apartment whilst also being able to go out. The kids loved the pool! The property is in a perfect location and yet very quiet"

The microwave did not work! Fortunately we did not really need it but on the one occasion we wanted to use it, it did not work. We reported it so it can be resolved. Also, we had a tea towel for a day or so but then it kept disappearing. Not easy to dry plates etc when there is no tea towel

"Nice apartment, nice terrace overlooking the pool and with partial sea view. The ceiling fans were very good and enough to keep the apartmrent cool and we did not need the aircon. The owner had been very friendly and responsive. Just a few meters walk to a long stretch of beach with few people around. Free use of beach chairs and sunshades"

Air conditioning did not work in the living room but was not a problem because we did not need it. The only problem was after we checked out when we received a message from the owner saying that we had forced open a closet and damaged some beach towels. I have explained the owner how things really went and I believe that it was fiundamentally a misunderstanding and the problem was likely caused by the people in charge of the cleaning/maintenance of the apartment or some previous guests, since the owner lives in Europe. To be fair the owner did not ask us to pay anything it was just her complaining about us having done something that we did not do.

"We had a very comfortable and quiet 2 week stay in the Sunset Room. The entire cottage is beautiful and immaculately kept by Demi. We had everything we needed to cook at home but also enjoyed many meals out at local restaurants. Our morning coffee on the balcony before our daily walks on Shoal Bay beach (5 min drive away) were a great way to start each day. Use of the laundry facilities was much appreciated. Hot shower, quality towels, linens and bath products. Demi was very helpful with recommendations. The location was great as we had a car to explore the island. Nothing in Anguilla is far. We loved everything about the island and would highly recommend any of the rooms at The Hidden Cottage."

"My family had a wonderful experience. The check in process was easy. It's important to inform the staff about time of arrival. Also I texted and emailed before hand and the staff were responsive. The rooms were clean and comfortable. My favorite part was the full kitchen . We were able to cook our own meals. Another favorite are was the washer and dryer. 3 rooms were located on the second floor and my family was very comfortable with the set up. The location was around 5 minute drive to Tumon beach and the malls. It's important to have a car rental when renting this apartments. It was a great value for money. I would stay here again"
